Our Story
How Embrace came to be
In October, Gavin was playing in a AAU basketball game for the first time. As the game was about to begin, the ref informed Gavin and his teammates that they could not wear jewelry. Gavin took off his necklace and thought nothing of it. After the game, he came back to the bench, and his necklace was gone. He was infuriated because he had just bought the necklace a week before and he already lost it. It was not cheap either. Fast forward to the start of November, the team had a conversation about this issue. We realized that athletes and jewelry wearers in general need a safe place to store their jewelry so they don't lose it or have it stolen. Our goal is to create a product that will save jewelry wearers money from lost or stolen jewelry and damage from necklaces being tangled.

Gavin Esler
Gavin is a student at Naperville North High School, enrolled in the Business INCubatorEdu class. He is a Varsity athlete for the school's hockey team. Additionally, he holds a managerial role at Panda Express. He has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer at Embrace, a company dedicated to addressing issues related to lost and tangled jewelry.

Kailani Zhang
Kailani Zhang is a senior at Naperville North planning to major in economics or finance in college. Having budgeted for her nonprofit called GenPen, participated in the Stock Market Game twice, and completed an internship at Fairhaven Wealth Management, she has lots of knowledge and experience for her role as the CFO at Embrace. Scott Boscarino
Scott Boscarino is a junior from Naperville North High School. Scott possesses valuable networking skills acquired through experience as a caddie and as a Lifeguard at, he brings a unique perspective to our entrepreneurial endeavors. In addition to his practical skills, Scott has a solid foundation in economics and engineering gained through various school classes and a summer program. His personal interests encompass hockey, lifting, and golfing, reflecting a diverse range of passions beyond their academic and professional pursuits.

Rianna Tandon
Rianna Tandon is a sophomore at Naperville North's Business INCubatorEdu class. Teaming up with other students, she is coming up with a solution to unorganized jewelry, when on the go. She uses her interpersonal communication, marketing, and skills to help her business team find success. In addition to her interest in business, Rianna is a very effective contributor to both Varsity Girls Cross Country and Track and Field Programs at North. In doing so, her high energy, leadership, and motivation to succeed, help every team she is on.
